Short Version of Bio:
First and foremost, Mark is a husband of 12 years and a father of two great kids, Ashley and Olivia. In an effort to put family first and be more of an at-home dad, Mark started his own training and consulting business, The Learning Interface, when his first daughter was born. He tells everyone that this was not only the best career decision he ever made, it was one of the best “life” decisions he has ever made. Mark speaks and writes to parents through a variety of media forms about the importance of their roles, and provides resources to help them build strong, healthy relationships with their children. The education from his two college degrees pales in comparison to the lessons he’s learned from his two kids. Mark shares those lessons in his new book, “Big Slick Daddy: Poker Strategies for Parenting Success,” winner of the Good Parenting Seal from Parental Wisdom for being a resource that provides clear, helpful, actionable information to parents. When he’s not raising his kids, he’s raising the stakes at a friendly poker game. His poker claim to fame is getting his picture on the cover of CardPlayer Magazine’s 2005 World Series of Poker Collectors Edition. For his parenting claim to fame, well, he’s not sure he has one yet so check back with his kids again in about 20 years. Long Version of Bio:
